GBGARAGE PAGE
What else we can do

Once we've got your customer list, the rest is small.

Everything on this page runs off the same thing: your customers, their cars, and a number to text them on. The MOT and service schedule is the product. These are the things garages ask for next. Most of it is in the £249 plan; the answering agent and web chat are the Reception plan at £399. All plus VAT.

The core of it

Your database, turned into a service and MOT schedule

You give us the customer list from your workshop system — registrations and mobile numbers is enough. We look up every car's MOT expiry and last advisories on the DVSA record, add the service interval from the last job if you have it, and build a calendar: who's due, when, and what for.

Reminders go out as your garage, a month before. Advisories become "shall we do the discs at the same time?" Quiet weeks get filled from busy ones. You see it all on the dashboard, and nothing goes out you haven't agreed the wording of.

Missed-call text-back

You're under a car; the phone rings out; the customer rings the next garage on the list. With this on, anyone who rings and doesn't get through gets a text within a minute — from your number, with your booking link — so they wait for you instead of moving on.

It works with whatever phone you already have. We add a forward-on-no-answer to your line; nothing to install.

Sorry we missed your call — we're in the workshop. Book an MOT or service here and we'll confirm by text: cuttlebrook.garage/book — or we'll ring you back before 5.

Someone to answer when you can't

An answering agent on your line for when it's busy or after hours. It knows your opening times, your prices and your diary, can look a car up on the DVSA record while the customer is on the phone ("your MOT's due on the 14th — shall I pencil you in for the Tuesday before?"), and takes a booking request or a message.

It says it's the garage's booking line, not a person. Anything it isn't sure of, it takes a number and you ring back.

"Is my MOT due?" · "How much is a service on a Golf?" · "Can I bring it Thursday?" · "Have you got my car ready?" (takes a message)

Can be on all day, out-of-hours only, or off. Your choice, changeable any time.

Optional

Review requests

The day after a car goes out, the customer gets one text asking for a Google review, with the link. That's it. No chasing, no incentives, nothing that breaks Google's rules. Reviews come in steadily instead of only when someone's annoyed, and they show up on your page automatically.

Thanks for bringing the Fiesta in yesterday, Helen. If we did a decent job, a quick Google review helps more than you'd think: g.page/r/cuttle-brook — Dave & Steve

One text, once. Anyone who's already reviewed doesn't get asked.

For completeness

The odd social post

Not a content plan. If you send us a photo of an interesting job — the van with the rodent nest in the air box, the classic that came in for its first MOT in twenty years — we'll write it up and post it to your Facebook or Google profile with a line about what to look out for. Seasonal tips (tyres before winter, aircon before summer) go out when they're useful.

Two or three a month is plenty. It keeps the profile alive so that when someone searches for a garage in your town, yours doesn't look shut.

How it works

You text us a photo and a sentence. We draft the post, you say yes, it goes up. FacebookGoogle profileInstagram
